It all started in 1974 inside a tiny woodshop in Vermont. Grandpa Tinkering was determined to create toys for his grandchildren that didn't flash, squeal, or rely on screens. He hand-carved blocks from local fallen birch wood, dying them with extracts of beetroot, blueberries, and turmeric.
Three generations later, we still use his original hand-sanding methods and child-safe organic beeswaxes. Our mission remains simple: **to craft toys that look gorgeous in your living room, feel warm in little hands, and survive decades of heavy imaginary play.**
